Irina Shayk simply rocked the Met Gala after-party, appearing in an extremely relaxed outfit, but with an impressive Diamond Necklace by Ana Khouri, accented by 5 huge Pear-shaped White Diamonds. Leaving this jewelry from her main Met Gala look, our girl is sustainable. 65 carats of Diamonds and Irina’s energy is definitely a fatal formula.
Blake Lively in her remarkable Emeralds
This December, literally 10 days ago, Blake Lively sparkled in crazy juicy Colombian Emeralds. As a gemologist, I am in awe of these incredible earrings, two amazingly beautiful rings, and note the ear piercing. It is immediately obvious that the gems are from Lorraine Schwartz. According to some comments, we are talking about more than 100 carats of Colombian Emeralds. Blake loves this rich green gemstone; she often appears in Emeralds. Undeniably, they look great on her and Blake definitely knows her jewels and how to play with them!
Blue Ivy Carter and the Emerald situation
I am watching with particular interest the rising star, the talented Blue Ivy. This girl has it all: grace and modesty, kindness and incredible hard work. I am sure that she still has a lot to surprise us with. And this Emerald situation is something big. Thank you 2023 for Blue Ivy!
Rihanna’s pre-Met Gala mood
In recent years, Rihanna has really taken the pedestal of jewelry appearances. Her bold decisions and the colossal work of the stylists are a treat for the eyes. Vintage collectible jewelry, the rarest large precious stones, and an interest in watches are already the hallmark of a superstar. Well, her ability to wear it is as iconic as the 9-carat diamond on her toe. I mean, ICONIC!
And I wouldn’t stop there. Rihanna generates interest in her jewelry and watch collections, and she also displays a genuine enthusiasm for collecting.
Her Diamond Brooch Trio from Joseph Saidian & Sons at the Super Bowl was a truly high jewelry and fashion moment of the year. Rihanna shows ambitions in all areas of her multitalented nature, her personal collection is replenished quite often and steadily, and she already has her own style. Sometimes, I look at a particular piece of jewelry and think, “This is Rihanna’s piece.” It’s great that there is a muse and inspiration in our industry.
Nicola Peltz Beckham does it better!
Young and successful Nicola gives master classes on wearing jewelry, starting from her wedding, red carpet situations and magazine’s covers, ending with ordinary family dinners. Glamor, luxury and endless beauty are so permeated and imbued with Nicola that her every appearance is eagerly awaited by many, most definitely jewelry lovers. I included her Diamond Ankle Bracelet in the jewelry highlight of the year, but honestly Nicola deserves her own ranking. Because just look at her:

Sometimes, there are those moments when you are so fascinated that you can’t breathe. So this is one of those moments! At the Met Gala Isha Ambani wore Diamonds of various cuts and impressive sizes. 4 necklaces and 1 choker of impossible beauty from Lorraine Schwartz, of course!
Michael B Jordan’s legendary “Birds on a Rock” by Tiffany and Co.
One of my favorite moments this year was Michael B Jordan wearing these 2 Bird Brooches of Tiffany and Co. at the Oscars. A 40ct Morganite and a 50ct Tourmaline set with Diamonds. This brooch (originally from the 60s) has gained extreme popularity over the past few years and has become one of the most coveted items for collectors.
Kim Kardashian’s Pink Diamonds
It’s hard to pick just one Kim’s jewelry moment, that’s for sure. But her Sparkly Pink outfit for the Kering Foundation Gala etched into my memory. Colored Diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz look chic on her. The significantly huge size of the gemstones is a favorite of the Kardashians, and we enjoy their selection with pleasure.
Heart Evangelista in her La Dolce Vita era
Another jewelry muse for me this year is Heart Evangelista. The ability to wear important items in everyday life, excellent taste and, of course, a lot of precious gemstone. I also like the way she wears the same jewelry with different outfits, it’s clear that she really enjoys the game. For the Tatler Ball she chose 3 incredible necklaces with Diamonds and Emeralds. It’s amazing that all these necklaces are from different eras, but they look absolutely magnificent together.
